At our Youth Groups we aim to build and develop relationships with young people, encouraging them to believe in themselves and to develop their interpersonal skills, self-confidence, team working skills and their ability to listen to the opinions of others. We aim to show the young people that they have a hope and a future to explore the Christian faith and belief in ways that are relevant to them.
Our Youth Groups meet weekly during term time and are run by our Youth Worker Kev and a wonderful team of volunteers. Whether aged 5, or in Year 5 at school, there is a group to suit all children from age 5 up to school year 9. For more information on each of our groups, see below.

Explosion is our club for children who are 5 years old, up to school year 3.
When?
Monday evenings, 6:00 – 7:15pm
Where?
In the hall next to MDMC
These sessions include games, crafts, bible stories and discussions, singing, film nights, talent nights and trips out.
Sessions are just 50p.
Fusion is our club for young people in school years 4, 5 and 6.

Thursday evenings, 6:00 – 7:15pm
Where?
In the hall next to MDMC
These sessions include games, crafts, bible stories and discussions, film nights, computer games consoles, pool table, air hockey, table football, talent nights and trips out.
Sessions are just 50p.
Fireworks is our club for young people in school years 7, 8 and 9.
When?
Monday evenings, 7:30 – 8:45pm
Where?
In the hall next to MDMC
Most evenings are open nights when we have the pool table, air-hockey tables, table-football tables and computer games consoles out, usually with a craft table, although we regularly have film nights, food nights and trips out. Sessions are just 50p.
