Community Page

We love to serve our local community.

Community is really important at MDMC. As well as our own groups that meet regularly, a number of other community groups meet at MDMC on a regular basis:

Stroke Association

Stroke Club

music-and-movement

singing

A Choired Taste

meets each Tuesday at 7.30pm.
A Choired Taste is a community choir open to all who enjoy singing for pleasure. There are no auditions and, although useful, an ability to sight sing is not required. Under 16s may attend so long as accompanied by a responsible adult.

alcoholics anonymous

Friends of Bill

meets every Friday at 8pm.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. The primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

We love working with people. Here are a few organisations and groups in both the local area and further afield that we are connected with.
